ToytownGermany: this is a major waterhole for all Expats in Germany to chat and exchange information. You can find compatriots from all over the world, groups of all different kind and interest meeting in all areas of Germany. We ourselves are usually very active in the

Expatax.de: often we are asked if we could or would not also give some tax advice to our new clients. While we are quite knowledgable (one of our German directors even has a degree in international taxation from Harvard Law School, mind you), by German laws and regulations we are not allowed to give general tax advice. The right to do this is limited to registered/licenced tax accountants in Germany only. Spectrum Int. : if you want to get a second opinion on insurance related topics, please feel free to contact Mike Woodiwiss at Spectrum. We got to know him and find him very reliable and fair. While we cater to clients from all over Germany, our main location is in the south of Germany and if you are living or planning to live more to the North/North-West of Germany and if on top you want to have someone there to meet eye-to-eye, he would be a better choice, because we only travel to the main hubs in Germany like Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Leipzig/Dresden area.
